So much to catch up on...
So sorry I haven't been around. I sat down tonight with a mission to catch up on some blogging. I plugged in the camera to sort through some pictures, and realized a lot has happened this week.
First of all, I guess I'll explain where I've been. Last Thursday night, a school called saying they need another 3rd grade teacher because their enrollment is higher than expected. I was super excited and scared and then sad. I really want to teach, but I'll really miss being with Ethan. Well, I called my lovely family and worked out that my aunt Paula could come in (from about an hour away) to watch E for a week, with help from my mom and aunt Diana. Well, after getting to the school, I found out they really didn't have quite enough kiddos to make a new class, but they might, so they wanted me to stick around for the week and just "help out." I did, and as of Friday, they still had no new kids. They wanted me back through the 11th, but I really didn't want to put E in daycare if they couldn't guarantee that they would be able to keep me on. So, they may call if they get some new students, but I am kind of at the "whatever is meant to be will be" point. It was a VERY long week.
This week was also E's 5-month birthday, his first spoon-fed solids, his first roll from back to tummy, his first cloth diaper experience, and his first little stuffy-nose-cold-like-gunk. Perhaps I'll spread the love and give them separate posts.... more to come.
