5 months!!!
Last week, E turned 5 months old. He really is growing like a weed. This month, I'd have to say his biggest difference is his personality. He is so smiley and giggly and quite a silly boy. He loves to show off and be the center of attention.
Other things he's doing now: he loves to hear us sing silly songs, especially with doo doo's. You can pretty much just say "doo doo" and he cracks up (such a boy). He's also mastered the art of rolling over and he'll roll ALL over the place in just a matter of seconds. This is pretty new, since he just started rolling from back to tummy on his 5 month day. He's getting pretty good at sitting too. He can sit by himself for a while until he wants to lurch for a toy.
His favorite toys include the walker, which he rolls all over the place. He can now maneuver it around the house and will walk to wherever we are. He still loves his jumperoo, or jumping in our arms. He also likes his squishy ball thing and soft turtle toy for blanket time.
He's still sleeping about the same (8:30 to 4:30-6:30 and then back to sleep until 8:00 or so) and he's finally un-swaddled. He has just recently started rolling around in his sleep and wants to sleep on his tummy. However, he likes to smoosh his face into the mattress, and neither mommy nor daddy like that too much (it scared the crap out of me the first couple of times).
He's just changing so much every day, it's amazing. He wants really badly to move and has started to pull his knees up under him when he's on his tummy. Thankfully, this just makes him scoot, he hasn't quite mastered it yet, and I can wait awhile for crawling please. Hmm... that's really all I can think of, so I'll stop boring you now.
Here's the pictures we got of him that day. I was kind of sad because I usually take his monthly pictures in the morning, outside, when he's happy. But, I was working, so I had to do it in the evening when he's super fussy, hence the lack of smiles, but at least Cory was there to help me cheer E up.
