4 months

Yes, I'm totally slacking lately. Sorry, it's been a busy week. Here's a few pictures from his 4 month photo shoot (which was actually 4 days late). They aren't that great because he just wasn't in the mood.

Also, he had his 4 month appointment on Tuesday. He's measuring at 14lbs 14oz (50th percentile) and 26 inches (75th-90th percentile), so he's still a long skinny thing. He also had his vaccinations which is one of the reasons things have been busy. He's been a little clingy and just not himself for a few days. He wants LOTS of attention, which has nothing to do with shots and more to do with him being a ham.

Lets see, other 4 month things... He's still not rolling, which doc is okay with. He LOVES to stand, so according to Gramma, he'll be bow-legged if we let him do it too much. He's still swaddled at night, but he'll break out of it in the morning while he waits on me to go get him. We tried not swaddling and it was a fail, he only slept for 2 hours. He loves to move. He flails his arms and legs all the time, he kicks, he throws his legs up to his chest. He also loves to be high up on our shoulders and look around while we walk. He chews on his hands and fingers pretty much non stop, and he drools a lot. He also started making noises with his mouth (like tongue between the lips noises). We think he's having teeth pain, but the doctor said only 5% of kiddos get teeth this early. It really seems like he's in pain sometimes, so he could be one of them. Not much else has changed this month, except his personality is really starting to come out. It's so neat to see him grow into a happy active baby and to see him start to become a person versus the crying, sleeping, eating, pooping newborn he once was.
